Description
This board is a premium, heavy-duty wooden chopping block designed for food preparation and serving.
It measures 37cm long x 30cm wide with a thick 3cm depth, providing a heavy, stable workspace that will not slide around your countertop during use.
It has an end grain construction, with the wood fibres facing vertically upward. This design creates a “self-healing” cutting surface because the wood fibres part to absorb the knife blade rather than resisting it. This significantly reduces visible scarring on the board and keeps your kitchen knives sharper for longer.
Hand Wash Only: Wash immediately after use with warm water and mild dish soap. Never soak the board in water or place it inside a dishwasher.
When the wood begins to look dry or pale, apply a layer of food-safe mineral oil or butcher’s block oil to preserve the moisture.
