Woodbridge puts local producers in the spotlight

We’re pleased to be taking part in What’s Tasty a local food market on Woodbridge’s historic Market Hill, on Saturday 20st September between 10am and 4pm.

Whilst all the stall holders have yet to be announced, we know it will be another amazing market. Last September the What’s Tasty market brought together produce from local companies including; Friday Street & Goslings Farm Shops, The Cake Shop Bakery, Woodbridge Tide Mill, Roadii, Maximus Fish, Sutton Hoo Chicken, Charsfield Apple Juice, Memorable Cheeses, Casa De L’oli, Dingley Dell Pork, Petite & Sweet, The Artisan Smokehouse Ltd, The Woodbridge Kitchen Company, The Suffolk Larder, The Greek Olive Company, New Twist Foods, Symon the Pieman, Stokes Sauces, Heidi’s Popcorn Box, The Angel and Market Garden Produce.

There will be live music and cooking demonstrations from local chefs including Ugur Vata from The Galley and hopefully Vernon Blackmore from The Table in Woodbridge and last year there was even a beautiful, local horse & cart to take people up to Market Hill from the Riverside and The Thoroughfare and return them laden with goodies.

Organised by volunteers from Choose Woodbridge, The Galley, The Table, The Cake Shop and Friday Street Farm this event promises to provide a delicious day out for all ages and a great way to learn more about and taste the fabulous foods that originate on our doorstep.
